Keri Hilson takes it nice and slow in the video for “Slow Dance,” the latest single off her debut album In a Perfect World… Miss Keri reteams with “Knock You Down” director Chris Robinson for the clip, which features cameos from Chris Brown, Omarion, Monica, Melody Thornton, and Polow Da Don.

“Keri Hilson has a great personality and is a real girl,” said Robinson. “That’s what we want to get across.”

J’ai une très bonne news et une mauvaise. La très bonne news est pour les fans du R&B – Hip Hop, car un nouveau TUBE est de préparation. Keri Hilson et Usher sont en effet en studio et nous aurons bientôt le résultat de leur travail que nous attendons avec impatience. La mauvaise news est que les chansons « Knock You Down» featuring Ne-Yo et Kanye West et « Get Your Money Up Snippet» featuring Keyshia Cole et Trina ont filtré. C’est vraiment dommage que certains gâchent le travail dur de Keri de cette manière. Merci de ne pas poster des liens de téléchargement dans les commentaires…

Voici la vidéo de la performance live de Keri Hilson au BET Rip Runway 2009. Une fois de plus il faut avouer que Keri a été irréprochable. Ses performances sont de mieux en mieux et elle commence enfin à recevoir le succès qu’elle mérite. « Turnin me on» a de plus en plus de succès aux States. La chanson est #29 dans le classement des meilleurs chansons diffusés à la radio avec un total de plus de 1.400 rotations journalières. J’ajouterais les photos dès que la galerie remarche!!

Il était temps que Keri Hilson fasse un peu plus de promotion pour son album « In a Perfect World» . Voici une toute nouvelle performance live de Keri. Elle chante « Turnin Me On» et raconte un peu comment elle est devenu l’écrivaine et compositrice la plus en vogue du moment. Ce que tu peux sentir en regardant mes clips c’est que je veux créer mon propre chemin et montrer le côté fort de la femme. Aussi ce qui est cool dans l’album c’est que Pollow, Timbaland et moi avons crée un style qui est propre à moi. […] C’est un monde complètement différent dans lequel je vis. Tu dois faire attention à ton image, à ta réputation… des choses dont tu ne te soucis pas d’habitude (…) Je connais beaucoup de gens qui disent qu’ils veulent être célèbres, mais est-ce qu’ils pourront le supporter ce qu’on fait ? La vie n’est pas que sous les paillettes. […] Pour mon album je ne dirais pas que je fais tout à 100% et que je ne vais pas chercher à côté. Je prends parfois d’autres chansons mais seulement celles avec lesquelles j’établis une vrai connexion. Parce que c’est ce qui fait de toi un artiste en le rendant en quelque chose qui t’est propre à toi. Je dois sentir ce que je chantes…

Jabari Johnson, le webmaster de HipHopGame.com vient récemment de faire une interview avec notre belle Keri où il la questionne au sujet de son album « In a Perfect World» ainsi que ainsi que les difficultés de travailler pour d’autres artistes. Elle est très excitée de lancer son nouvel album, car après avoir écrit pour des artistes comme Mary J Blidge, Toni Braxton, Ciara, Les Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears ou encore Usher entre autres, on poura enfin voir qui est vraiment cette « Keri Hilson» . Ce qui pour elle est le plus difficile dans le travail avec un artiste est de s’assoir avec lui/elle, de discuter et d’essayer de transmettre ses idées l’un à l’autre.. Pour finir, Mr Johnson lui a demandé quelle était sa chanson préférée de l’album: « Slow Dance» en est une, « Intuition» en est une autre ainsi que « Tell The Truth» …
