C’est vraiment incroyable mais l’album de Keri vient une fois de plus être repoussé!! WTF????

Attendu pour cet été puis repoussé jusqu’à la fin de l’année, l’album solo de Keri Hilson ; « In a perfect World » a maintenant été repoussé jusqu’à début 2009. L’album sera réalisé par Zone 4/Mosley Music Group/ Interscope

« World » est en featuring avec des artistes tels que Polow Da Don, Roy Hamilton, Timbaland, Royal Court et Danja Handz, tout comme le co-producteur Tank ainsi que les participations artistiques de Timbaland et Lil Wayne

A part les singles « Energy » et « Return The Favor » featuring Timbaland, l’album comporte les singles séduisants “Turnin Me On” ou encore“Intuition” (paroles: « Dudes think they’re slick / got a lot of girls on they’re d*cks / but I’m not the silly girl I used to be» ) et le Grace Jones-sampling « Do It To Me Radio.» 

Justin Timberlake a co-écrit la chanson acoustique en guitare “Slow Dance”, alors que Danja a produit “Love Ya”. L’album comporte aussi “Hurts Me”, une chanson accompagné avec le piano ainsi que les chansons Dance « Shake It Like a Dog » et « How Does It Feel ? »

Hilson se lance dans sa carrière solo après avoir participé les années précédentes à « Gimme More » de Britney Spears ou encore « Love In this Club » de Usher. Elle a aussi été en featuring dans des chansons de Timbaland, Nas et Chris Brown parmi beaucoup d’autres.

Décrivant l’album comme « un peu plus R&B » que ce qu’elle a produit entant que compositrice, Hilson a révélé à Billboard en Septembre que « In a Perfect World » touche toutes les personnes qui ont quelque chose d’incomplet en eux ou qui veuillent changer quelque chose en eux. « Je ne voulais pas faire un album qui me représentait « parfaite » a-t-elle dit. « Ce qui manque dans la musique est de montrer le coté vulnérable de la femme, le vrai. Montrer la femme que tu peux être toi-même. Tu ne dois pas te balader en pensant que ta mer*e ne pue pas ».

That’s really incredible and that really sucks but Keri’s Album has AGAIN been pushed back!! WTF????

Originally expected this summer then before the end of the year, Keri Hilson’s long-in-the-works solo debut, « In a Perfect World,»  has now been pushed to early 2009. The set will be released by Zone 4/Mosley Music Group/Interscope.

« World»  features production from Polow Da Don, Roy Hamilton, Timbaland, Royal Court and Danja Handz, as well as co-production from R&B artist/producer Tank. Guest features include Timbaland and Lil Wayne.

Beyond the singles « Energy»  and « Return the Favor»  featuring Timbaland, the album includes the seductive « Turning Me On,»  the stern « Intuition»  (» Dudes think they’re slick / got a lot of girls on they’re d*cks / but I’m not the silly girl I used to be» ) and the Grace Jones-sampling « Do It To Me Radio.»

Describing the album as « a bit more R&B»  than what folks may know from her songwriting, Hilson told Billboard in September that « In a Perfect World»  relates to everyone who has something incomplete or something they’d like to change about themselves. « I didn’t want to do an album that painted me perfect,»  she said. « What’s missing in music is just that: showing the vulnerable side of women, the real. Showing women you can be yourself. You don’t have to walk around like your sh*t doesn’t stink.»
